How Files Are Reviewed

Original Heartline Works designs

Each design in the library today is built from mathematics and basic geometry by Heartline Works, so there is no third-party artwork, font or traced image in it. Every file is generated from one master geometry. Before publication the geometry is checked: 2D designs for closed outlines, duplicate points and valid DXF, SVG and PDF output; 3D models for closed meshes (every edge shared by exactly two triangles). Box templates were also checked for joint fit in a volume test. Each design page shows the results.

Imported third-party designs

If third-party designs are added later, they go through this process and are not published automatically:

  1. Rights check: the source and licence are recorded. Only items clearly marked public domain or CC0 are accepted automatically; anything else goes to manual review or is rejected.
  2. Import: the original file is stored untouched, with a checksum.
  3. Master creation: one clean master SVG is created. Raster sources are traced to vectors and flagged as traced, because tracing is an interpretation of the image.
  4. Format generation: DXF, PDF and PNG files are generated from the master.
  5. Validation: each file is checked — open paths, duplicate paths, tiny geometry, structure, and (for SVG) unsafe content.
  6. Human review: a person looks at the preview and the validation report. Designs with warnings are not published until reviewed.
  7. Owner approval: nothing is published without explicit approval from the site owner.

CDR files

CorelDRAW CDR is a proprietary format that cannot be generated by open tools. A CDR is offered only when a genuine file exists and passes a structural check. Otherwise the design shows “CDR Needs Review”.

Previews and watermarks

Preview images carry a Heartline Works mark. Downloadable files are never watermarked.
